New England IPA
A smooth, cloudy IPA focused on bringing flavors of berry, stone and tropical fruits to your palate with a big emphasis on Mosaic hops. Flavors of ripe melon, peach, passionfruit and gooseberry result from the 4 lbs/bbl hopping rate yet Backwards K drinks with a much lower bitterness than our Seam series making it extra crushable.
American Wild Ale
The first turn in this years line up, this is a simple saison recipe that would let us get a glimpse of the flavors that we would be working with. We find fruity aromatics such as pineapple and notes of hay. Finishes dry with a light barnyard funk.
Quadruple Ale
Dark, fried fruit notes with hints of allspice and gingerbread, finishes semi sweet.
American Wild Ale
Honey Saison with notes of herbs and fruits. As the beer warms, a pleasant floral note from the honey appears, along with Meyer lemons. A touch of phenols balances out the dry finish.
American Wild Ale
This complex saison was the last turn in Funkytown 2019, which uses rose hips and hibiscus. This pink hued beer has light herbal notes and rose water on the nose. This evolves into a lovely blend of raspberry and cherry on the palate. The consistent Meyer lemon and hay from these wild yeasts round out the finish.
Schwarzbier
A black lager with notes of bakers chocolate and unsweetened coffee. Dry and crisp! Brewed in collaboration with Hugh O’Neill’s and The Black Ale Project. $1 of every pour is donated to The Soldier’s Home in Chelsea, MA.
80 Schillings Scottish Ale
Dark amber to brown in color. Aromas of honeyed bread mix with hints of apple, cherry and wood. The palate drifts between caramel, dark fruits and earth for a surprisingly long finish. Full of flavor.
American Farmhouse Ale
Easy drinking farmhouse ale with an American twist. Notes of stone fruit, tropical fruit and bubblegum with a dry peppery finish.
Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout
Our American stout, amplified with the addition of blueberry blossom honey and aged in a variety of oak barrels. A decadent ale with aromas of toasted coconut and fudge and flavors of burnt sugar, espresso and vanilla.
Belgian Blonde
Flavors of citrus combine with a light malt base to make a quenching belgian ale. Background notes of banana and light spice emerge as the beer warms.
Czech Amber Lager
A clean, copper hued lager that pays tribute to the Czech brewing traditions currently being rediscovered in the US. Flavors of artisan bread crust with a soft, whole grain center yields to a touch of fruitiness and balanced bitterness.
American Lager
Intentionally brewed to have a restrained flavor and aroma, in the style of macro-lagers. Dry, crisp, and slightly effervescent. Meant to pair with sunny days and outdoor adventures
New England IPA
A true New England IPA brewed for the 2020 short season of baseball. Featuring an all-star lineup of Sabro and Galaxy hops and featuring low bitterness and notes of pineapple, tropical fruit and a hint of coconut.
German Pilsner
We brewed Gretel with a very traditional focus using 100% noble hops and a simple grain bill. The result is a snappy Pils with a light grassy character and touches of spice in the finish.
New England Double IPA
Brewed exclusively using the 2020 Ales for ALS hop blend in support of ALS research. For each 4-pack purchased, Idle Hands will donate $2 to the ALS TDI to continue research to finding a cure for ALS.
West Coast Style IPA
The 9th year of Idle Hands has been one for the books. What better way to put our mark on 2020 than to brew a style we said we never would when first starting out. Piney, resinous with notes of citrus. Clean but assertive bitterness harkening back to the days where bitter IPAs ruled the world.
Southern Hemisphere Pilsner
A new world lager brewed with New Zealand hops including Wakatu and Motueka which contribute just enough lemon-lime zest character to hold up to the crisp, cracker-like malt backbone.

Winter Ball will bring you back to that warm summer evening in the stands with notes of tropical fruit from southern hemisphere all star hops: Vic Secret, Wakatu and Motueka
